SHARING IS CARING

At our talks we share our experience and knowledge accumulated over years of competing in ultra endurance events like The Transcontinental Race. How to mentally prepare for the those intense last minutes on the track in the velodrome. What strategies lie behind preparation and execution of the day of that big road race. This goes back to where it all started, at the BMX track

Had an awesome week cycling at Paradis de Vélo. It was our 1st time cycling in the Alps and the host & guide Olly looked after us well, gaging the pace to suit us but still encouraging us to achieve more than we expected including La Grand Columbier and Col de Chat, both sizeable & spectacular climbs of over 15km with some testing gradients averaging about 8% and rising to 20% though in the heat, as a Scot it felt more! Certainly bigger climbs than we had ever done before but that is what a trip to the Alps is about. A great week, fantastic French style hospitality and awesome riding.

Thanks to Ollie and the team.

We stayed with Olly for a few days early in June 2022. The village is beautiful surrounded by fantastic cycling country. Olly is a great host on and off the bike. He also seems to attract a great bunch of people. Everyone on the rides was very friendly and supportive. We rode up the Grand Colombier on the first day which was tough but great to get it done. Day two was a 130km loop of Lac du Bourget broken up by a fantastic lunch stop – breath taking view and really good food. Day four was another really good route broken up by scenic coffee and lunch stops. Finished off with everyone going out to a lovely local restaurant serving some amazing food.

Olly is a very experienced cyclist and offers some great tips on how to improve. He is also a genuinely good guy and our stay was fantastic. Overall it was a great experience.
