Description
Day 1 : Arrival guide and introduction to Paradis du Vélo over coffee and refreshments. Bike prep. Around 50 – 60 km ride to Hauteville plateau. Back to HQ post ride nutrition rest. Dinner in the evening.
Day 2 : Breakfast 8am. Head out for ride 9:30am around 100km ride round Lac de Bourget coffee stop next to the lac opposite is testing climb Mont du Chat rolling back to base through Savoir vineyards roads from previous TDF. Bit more chill and rest over dinner.
Day 3 : Café breakfast, usually there will be some pre ride bike banter only 55km or more. Not a big distance today but the summit of the Grand Colombier anywhere between 1-30 to 2hrs is a good effort Pogacar did it under an hrs Day.
Day 4 : Ride south through Belly towards Grenoble loop back round a few smaller climbs and then an open descent to Yenne around 120km Day.
Day 5 : To Seyssel followed by Col de la Chambotte 100km day.
Day 6 : Heading South along the impressive river Rhone picking up climbs to enter the Bugey area not seeing many other vehicles feels like just us 130km Day.
Day 7 : Breakfast short 40km ride loosen those worked out legs back to HQ to pack bikes depart.
